Il Dominio di Miraidon
La Regulation I è iniziata ufficialmente da quasi un mese e, in questo periodo, si sono già disputati diversi Major Event. Tra i più rilevanti ci sono stati il Regional Championship di Milwaukee (USA) e lo Special Event di Utrecht (Europa). Entrambi questi tornei sono stati vinti da team che includevano Miraidon tra i due Pokémon ristretti.
Milwaukee Regional Championship
Milwaukee (USA) ha ospitato il primo Regional Championship della Regulation I, e Miraidon si è subito imposto con un dominio assoluto: ben 7 team su 8 nella Top 8 lo avevano in squadra. In particolare, c’erano 3 team con Miraidon-Lunala, 3 con Miraidon-Calyrex-Ice e 1 con Miraidon-Ho-Oh.
A vincere il torneo è stato Andrew Ding con una combinazione Miraidon-Lunala, supportata da un blocco che si è rivelato la vera scelta vincente dell’evento: Incineroar, Grimmsnarl, Urshifu e Ursaluna. Questa composizione è stata adottata anche da altri giocatori che hanno raggiunto la Top 8.

Utrecht Special Event
Lo Special Event di Utrecht si è svolto lo scorso fine settimana, il 17 e 18 maggio. Il metagame è risultato più variegato rispetto al dominio assoluto dei team con Miraidon visto in precedenza, anche se Miraidon è rimasto molto presente: 5 team su 8 nella Top 8 e 8 su 16 nella Top 16 lo includevano.
Questa volta a trionfare è stato il duo Miraidon-Calyrex-Ice, guidato dal talentuoso Michael Kelsch, attualmente considerato il miglior giocatore tedesco. Con questa vittoria, Michael conquista il suo secondo Major Event consecutivo, dopo aver vinto anche il Regional Championship di Stoccolma durante la Regulation G.
